Configuring FileCensus for First Use - Initial Setup Tips

After installing FileCensus, there are a few key configuration steps to get up and running:

  1. Log in using the default admin account (username: i,sa)
  2. Deploy agents to the servers you want to monitor
  3. Create your first catalog to organize scan data
  4. Set up your first scope to define which areas to analyze
  5. Configure any custom collections or layers you need

The Administration tab in the Console is where you’ll do most of this initial setup. Take your time to configure things properly - it will make reporting much smoother down the road.
