Deploying agents is a crucial step in setting up FileCensus. Here are some tips to ensure smooth deployment:

  1. Use the “Deploy Agents” function in the Operations tab when possible
  2. If auto-deployment fails, you may need to manually copy and configure the agent files
  3. Ensure the agent has appropriate permissions on the target server
  4. Configure the agent’s scan schedule to minimize impact on server performance
  5. Verify agent communication status in the Console after deployment
